Grilled Cheesy Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus



These grilled asparagus spears wrapped in cheesy prosciutto will make you feel like you're in Italy! Wrap tender asparagus in salty prosciutto, grill it until it's just right, and then put a gooey mix of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. You can eat this as an appetizer or side dish while following the keto diet. It is very tasty and will impress your guests at any dinner party or barbecue.

Ingredients:

  • 12 asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the grill to medium heat

Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto, starting from the bottom and working your way up

Place the wrapped asparagus spears on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil

Season with salt and pepper

Grill the asparagus bundles for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the asparagus is tender and the prosciutto is crispy

During the last minute of grilling, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the asparagus bundles

Remove from the grill and serve immediately
