Champagne Chicken



This Champagne Chicken recipe is elegant and luxurious, perfect for a special occasion or romantic dinner. The champagne-infused sauce adds a touch of sophistication to juicy chicken breasts, creating a dish that's sure to impress.

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup champagne
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat

Add chicken breasts and cook until browned, about 4 minutes per side

Remove chicken from skillet and set aside

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute

Pour in champagne and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet

Let champagne reduce by half, about 5 minutes

Stir in heavy cream and thyme leaves

Return chicken breasts to the skillet and simmer for another 5 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened

Serve chicken with sauce spooned over the top
