Honey Pork Belly



This irresistible Honey Pork Belly recipe is the newest thing in food. Sliced pork belly was marinated in a tasty mix of soy sauce, honey, and fragrant spices for a while, and then it was pan-fried until it was perfectly caramelized. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pork belly, sliced
  • For Marinade:
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • For Cooking:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish optional

Instructions:

Put everything for the marinade in a bowl and mix it all together

Make sure that all of the pork belly slices are well covered with the marinade before adding them

Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or better yet, overnight, to get the best flavor

In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat

Spread the pork belly slices out in the pan and cook them until both sides are golden brown and caramelized

Add any extra marinade to the pan and let it cook down until it thickens into a glaze that covers the pork belly slices

If you want, you can add sesame seeds and chopped green onions as a garnish

You can put the Honey Pork Belly on top of rice or as a starter
