Low Carb Waffled Tuna Cakes



These low-carb waffled tuna cakes are a tasty quick and easy meal that is also gluten-free and keto-friendly. They get crispy from the waffle iron, which goes well with the salty tuna flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of tuna in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

Preheat your waffle iron and grease it with cooking spray

In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, salt, and pepper

Mix until well combined

Divide the tuna mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties

Place a tuna patty in each section of the preheated waffle iron

Close the lid and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the patties are golden brown and crispy

Carefully remove the waffled tuna cakes from the iron using a fork or spatula

Serve hot with your favorite low-carb dipping sauce or a side salad
