Roasted Quince + Cardamom Popsicles



These cool popsicles are a great way to enjoy the sweet and fragrant combination of roasted quince and cardamom.

Ingredients:

  • 4 quinces, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 182C

In a baking dish, put chopped quinces

Add sugar and ground cardamom to the quinces

It will taste better

Fill the baking dish with water

Put foil over the dish and roast for about an hour, or until the quinces are soft

Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit

After the quinces have been roasted, put them in a blender with lemon juice

Blend until the mixture is smooth

Place the mix into popsicle molds

Put in the sticks and freeze until solid, which should take at least 4 hours

To take the popsicles out of the molds, run warm water over them for a few seconds and then pull them out gently
