Berkshire Pork Chop with Buffalo Trace Bourbon



If you want to make your pork chops taste even better, try this recipe. It calls for marinating tender Berkshire pork in a tasty mix of Buffalo Trace Bourbon, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. When grilled to perfection, these chops are a symphony of richness from the bourbon.

Ingredients:

  • - 4 Berkshire pork chops
  • - 1/4 cup Buffalo Trace Bourbon
  • - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • - 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • - Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together Buffalo Trace Bourbon, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade

Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the marinade over them

Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor

Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat

Remove the pork chops from the marinade, letting excess drip off, and brush them with vegetable oil

Grill the pork chops for about 5-7 minutes per side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145F 63C, basting with the reserved marinade during grilling

Allow the pork chops to rest for a few minutes before serving
